How can other agencies and third parties work with Bump?

Bump is a creative agency with an unusual business model. That sometimes creates confusion about how other agencies and third parties can collaborate on a policy experience in a Bump venue.

Our goal is not to be difficult. It is to make sure we can deliver the policy experience you expect from Bump.

We built this page so you can get clarity quickly.

Which of these describes you?

Your contract covers third parties

There are provisions in your contract with Bump covering the involvement of third parties. As our client, you are responsible for ensuring the public affairs agencies you involve are aware of and uphold the roles, responsibilities and shared code of conduct. You are also responsible for any breaches that occur by the third parties you involve.

See the third parties section of your contract, and ask your Bump project lead for a document you can share with your agency, to ensure maximum clarity.

Exclusive media partners

For quality and operational reasons, Bump works with exclusive media partners in our venues. See the third parties section of your contract, or ask your Bump project lead. You can also see the media partnerships section of this site for a quick overview.

Other third parties

Most other third-party activity is not permitted in our venues. Ask your Bump contact for more information.

Check with your client

You don’t need to sign anything with us. If your client has a signed contract with Bump, ask them to share the clauses covering third-party involvement. Those clauses make your client responsible for ensuring that anyone they bring in understands and respects the agreed roles and responsibilities, follows the house rules, and adheres to our shared code of conduct. They also set out how breaches are handled.
