How can we chart the future of food with an event that shakes up the Brussels EU bubble?
For the past three years, Bump has collaborated with FoodDrinkEurope to create the #FoodFuture IdeasFest: an afternoon of bite-sized, energetic, TED-style talks on the future of sustainable food systems in Europe – as well as some hands-on workshops, innovation showcases and much more.
The event comprises of three thematic tents hosting concurrent expert speakers, covering topics such as net zero, nutrition and packaging.
The first IdeasFest included an interactive paint-by-numbers mural, an insightful timeline of the 40-year history of FoodDrinkEurope and engaging video content of the speakers, among several other surprises throughout the afternoon and evening.
The second edition featured a customised marble run track that told the farm-to-fork story and doubled as a food donation initiative. It was a fun, interactive tool that got people talking and offered an impactful way to drive the #FoodFuture narrative while supporting a great cause – a win-win!
And the third edition? FoodDrinkEurope went bigger and bolder, adding workshop and taste the innovation spaces to showcase members’ latest developments in the food and beverage industry.
In addition, we have co-created and designed three editions of the Action Plan for Sustainable Food Systems alongside our design partners at Shtick.
Through IdeasFest, FoodDrinkEurope is able to engage with the industry in a valuable, unexpected, and fun way. Plus, they’re able to cover a lot of high-quality content in a short period of time.
