CHALLENGE

What could a home for policy experiences in the heart of the EU Quarter look like?

Located directly on Place du Luxembourg, the Bump Policy Experience Space is where Brussels’ policy conversations come alive. The venue occupies the former ING Bank and spans 400 square metres across two floors. It is designed with maximum flexibility, so no two policy pop-up experiences ever look the same.

The space adapts to fit your format and ambition—ideal for campaign launches, stakeholder summits, thought leadership platforms, immersive exhibits, and more.

The very quick version

For the shortest version of the information here, visit or download this slide deck, which includes an overview of the space as well as pricing and availability.

Who it’s for

This space is for policy teams ready to go beyond the standard panel event. It’s for organisations that want to bring people in, create shared ownership, and make a splash with stakeholders, media, and policymakers alike.

Teams use the space to activate reports, accelerate campaigns, and bring big ideas to life. A policy pop-up experience lets you turn static messaging into something audiences can see, hear, touch, and remember.

What a week can look like

A successful policy pop-up experience balances high-energy, public-facing moments—like panels, fireside chats, and keynotes—with more intimate formats designed for depth and connection. You’ll have the flexibility to mix formal programming with informal stakeholder engagement.

We help our partners build strategic agendas that combine:

  • Morning breakfast roundtables or stakeholder workshops
  • Coffee hours and bilateral meeting windows
  • Thematic sessions like panel debates, TED-style talks, or film screenings
  • Evening receptions anchored by headline guests
  • Open space for quiet meetings, soft programming, or content creation

How do we get started?

Every policy pop-up experience is co-created with the partner. Here’s how it works:

  1. Visit the space
Meet the Bump team, experience the venue, and sketch out ideas.
  2. Build a draft agenda
We help shape your week: timings, formats, stakeholder journeys.
  3. Customise the package
From design and tech to staffing and catering—build what you need.
  4. Confirm & launch
Lock in your week with a contract and deposit. Then we build together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the capacity?
Most configurations allow for 40–60 seated attendees. In our largest layout, we can host up to 85 seated guests. For standing receptions, the space accommodates up to 150 people across both floors.
  • How many people can we allow to register, knowing they will not all come?
The space has a low no-show rate. We follow a simple formula:
    Registration cap = event capacity + 20%
  • Can we staff various parts of a pop-up experience ourselves?
No. The space is operated as an end-to-end service offering by Bump. From attendee welcome to post-event delivery, everything inside the venue is managed by our team. Exceptions are rare and always discussed in advance.
  • Can our agency handle any parts of the pop-up experience?
We welcome agency collaborations when we, your agency, and our joint client work as one team. Bump works directly with the end client and requires an active client presence throughout the preparation and experience. Here’s how collaboration works best:

    • Your agency can support with agenda shaping, speaker engagement, pre-event registration, and post-event communications.
    • Bump handles all aspects of on-site registration, production, design, and stakeholder flow—including videography, photography, stage design, lighting and AV.
    • We coordinate closely with all parties to ensure alignment and a seamless experience.
  • What’s included in the base package?
See the full breakdown above. In short: a five-day turnkey policy pop-up experience with AV, catering, video, photography, interactive screen design, and on-site staff.
  • How soon should we book?
We recommend booking at least 4–6 months in advance. High-demand weeks go quickly.
  • Can I use the space for a one-day or half-day event?
Only retained clients can access the space for short-format activations.
  • We only want to use the space on Tuesday–Thursday. Is there a discount?
We offer full week activations only. That said, we’ll help you get value from every day—including soft programming, content capture, internal strategy work, or informal meetings.
